IT'S SIMPLE: NEVER PAY FOR SOMETHING YOU DON'T LOVE.
It's our "Unofficial Return/Exchange" Policy. It's why our customers are so loyal.
It's we why we have really good reviews.
Typically, most brands require you return something unused, untouched, unopened in its original packaging, with your original order number, your social security number and your mother's maiden name.
...SO HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT?
I think that's stupid. How are you supposed to know if you like our riding gear without riding with it?
If you buy some boots, walk around with them, ride with them, call me a month later and say "Sorry Steve, these just ain't for me." I'll say, "No problem! Send 'em on back for a refund."
Or maybe a seam splits on a glove after a couple years of use. Call me up — I'll refund your purchase.
SO, IS IT A LIFETIME WARRANTY?
Sort of. I stand behind our gear, plain any simple. And frankly if you don't like my gear, I don't want you wearing it,
SO, I CAN KEEP GETTING RETURNS AND A REPLACEMENT?
If you buy some gloves, use them everyday, you obviously like them.
If you call me in a year and say you'd like your money back, I'll actually refund the gloves. That's The Live Free Guarantee part.
If you do the same thing the following year, I'll still refund them, but I'll suggest choosing another motorcycle brand from now on. Then, I'll probably put you on "The Naughty List".
Now, out of literally hundreds of thousands of customers, there's maybe ten people on that list — and they're banned for life.
BUT that mean's 99.99% of you aren't assholes!
You appreciate that this is a unique and generous policy. It's vague enough to drive a semi-truck through. And you're not looking to take advantage of a small business. And in turn, we want you to stay a customer for life.
Of course, there is a failsafe: "The Road House Return Policy" and it's our "Official" Return Policy. We rarely have to implement it, but it's there. Read it if you want to know, but it likely will never apply to you.
So, go browse our catalogue and remember that you're buying something to protect you while doing something you love.
And that means I probably like you already.
