Founded by Billy Lane, world-renowned bike builder and founder/owner of Choppers Inc., the Sons of Speed is a series of races that pay homage to early 20th-century board-track racing.
A small, dedicated group of riders race pre-1950’s, brakeless, stripped-down American V-Twin motorcycles. Crowds may flock 20 miles north at Daytona, the Sons of Speed remains a vintage outlaw race tradition that brings racing back to its roots.
At tracks like New Smyrna Speedway, Tennessee National Raceway, and Durango, CO, competitors from around the world come to race these 100-year-old machines.
We celebrate it because "King of the Baggers" doesn't exist without Vintage Outlaw Racing.
This tee commemorates the February 28, 2026 race during the 85th Anniversary of Daytona Bike Week, marking the Sons of Speed’s 10th season at the New Smyrna Speedway.

This is my second Indie Ridge T-Shirt and my first with a design. The shirts feel and fit great. I love the Sons of Speed logo. Looks great and a nice conversation starter. Hoping more of these collaborations happen in the future.
