RACER PROFILE:

Nathan Grubb - Old Soul

When Nathan asked if he could race using Indie Ridge boots at Billy Lane's Sons of Speed, I was honest:

"I have no f*cking idea."

Sons of Speed is called "Vintage Outlaw Racing" for two reasons:

1. "Vintage": All riders compete on pre-1950s Harley Davidson or Indian Motorcycles.

2. "Outlaw": It's 100% unsanctioned. Racers fly around a track at 90 mph on bikes with no brakes.

Their boots are the(ir) brakes.

In 2022, Nathan crashed into the wall at New Smyrna Speedway, shattering his fibula and foot.

So when he asked me to try them, I sent him a pair of Crow boots and told him:

"DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU'RE 100% SURE."

When I got to New Smyrna Speedway, he gave me a hug, picked up his other boots and threw them in the trash. I took a photo.

Nathan was the first member of the Indie Ridge Vintage Outlaw Race Team.

Great product!

I love my shirt and crossfield boots! Feels like wearing tennis shoes not a pair of boots at all. They are wearing good as well. Will definitely be getting another pair if these ever wear out.
