If you have beefy hands, width size is more important.
If you have long fingers, finger length is more important.
Step 1:
Measure the length of your middle finger on the palmside.
Step 2:
Lightly wrap a string/tailor's tape around the widest part of your knuckles.
Remember, your gloves will break in — BUT mostly in the width of the fingers and hand. They don't magically get longer.

These gloves (the Weathered Black & the Powersports) are everything the good review vids say they are. I saw a printed negative review on them and all I can say is those guys are full of shit. These are comfortable and very well made offering the protection needed. If you get the Powersport Gloves order a size up from your normal size. I needed the XL instead of my normal L. In all fairness they tell you that on the website so don't be a dumbass like I was...LOL! The customer service was better than any company I've ever dealt with. The owner actually answered the phone and was great & his office person flawlessly executed an exchange. Watch the YouTube interview by "Be The Boss of Your Motorcycle" with the Owner & you'll see why the guys that did the negative review are full of crap. Also they have the best no BS warranty in the industry...if you are a normal, honest human. If you are an abuser of the system then you can....F-off...love it. I will be buying their boots soon. I believe leather provides the best protection for riding. These gloves gave me the fit and feel I was looking for, and from end to end, the finger-tip control of these gloves is what impressed me the most. Despite hot and humid weather my hands remained cool and comfortable. Highly recommended.
I've tried so many pairs of gloves on where the width of the palm was too narrow, and if I went to a larger size, the fingers were too long. These gloves fit great, although I wasn't sure I really need an XL, but it worked out perfectly. The sizing guide on the website was very helpful
