SIZING GUIDELINE:

Order your most common size, but remember:

1.
These are CE-rated Level 2 motorcycle boots. They'll be stiff at first, but will break in.

2. After the break-in period, they can accommodate up to a EE-width, but only if you have a EE-foot. They won't magically turn into a EE if you have a standard-width foot.

3. As long as your heel isn't slipping up and down and your toes aren't touching the end, you probably have the right size, even if it feels snug. Again, see point #1.

WOMEN'S SIZES:

1. Go up one size. If you're in between sizes, go larger. Also, see points #1, #2, #3.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. "What size should I order?"

Your most common size in sneakers/tennis shoes. The boots run a tad long, but the MOST IMPORTANT THING is that your heel feels nice and snug and your toes aren't hitting the ends of the boots. They should feel tight around the rest of the foot until you break them in.

2. "But I saw a review that said—"

LET ME STOP YOU THERE. Did the review specify what version they had? Is it the same boot you're going to buy? Do you have his foot? No. No. Hopefully no.

I make upgrades, tweaks, slight changes, with every batch. The number next to the boot indicates what version I'm on. Multiply that number by 4 and that's probably the batch I'm on.

3. "So what size should I order?"

Read the three points above. Order your most common size in tennis shoes (NOT boots). Go up a half size if you're ordering The Comanche, Black Comanche, or The Armstrong.

4. "Okay, I got them, and they feel a little tight. Did I get the wrong size?"

Probably not. Take the laces completely off and walk around. The only thing that should feel comfortable is YOUR HEEL. As long as it's nice and snug, the leather will soften and the boot will mold to your foot.

5. "Wait, so I can actually wear them?"

Yes. It's called "The Live Free Guarantee". How can you know if you like riding boots if you can't *GASP* ride with them?

There is a fail safe. It's called The "Road House" Return Policy and it's brutal.

But, read "The Live Free Guarantee" first.

I want happy customers. Happy customers come back.

6. "I can really return them even if I've worn them or ridden with them?"

Yes, but again, read "The Live Free Guarantee". It's the UNOFFICIAL Return Policy. Our Official Return Policy is The "Road House" Return Policy.

If you abuse "The LFG", you won't be able to purchase from us in the future.

7. "It's Thursday and I need my boots for a ride Saturday, will they come in time?"

No. You can buy expedited shipping at checkout, but that does not include Fulfillment Time (1-2 business days).

Shipping times are estimates and you will not be refunded if it doesn't come on the exact day it said.

8. "What kind of conditioner should I use on my new Indie Ridge boots?"

I've probably tried every conditioner/oil that exists. I recommend "Leather CPR". It's cheap and you'll never see the bottom of that tub.

9. "Do you ship internationally?"

Yes. But you're responsible for all shipping fees, in addition to duty and fees. Sorry, but you know where you live.

10. "How do I return or exchange a product?"

For domestic orders, click anywhere it says "Size Exchanges & Returns" to begin a free exchange or return.

You can email us with any other questions just don't ask how to do a Size Exchange or Return.

Or call us at (323) 207-9181 between 9:30am-5:30pm Pacific Time. If I don't answer, Stephanie or Natalie (the nice ones) will.

If you leave a message, I'll call you back and we'll talk about nothing, or everything, for 45 minutes.

Love these boots!

I’ve already put 2,000 + miles on them, and they looking as handsome as when they came out of the box! Comfort, waterproof, grippy, and rad…everything you want in a motorcycle boot!

It’s been awesome to be an (early) member of the Indie Ridge Insiders and an honor to have Indie Ridge name these boots after my people, The Mohawk. Thanks to Steve and the rest of IR.

Actually Black with a Rich Brown Undercolor

I really like these boots, but they are not quite what I was expecting. From the photos, I thought they would be a dark brown, but they are actually black on the surface. And, as that surface has started to wear, a rich dark brown core has started to show. This is actually a beautiful effect on my Red Wing Black Prairie leather boots (google it), and I expect it will develop that way here. Also, I wear size 10.5 dress shoes, but I got these in 10, and they are the right size for me, comfortably tight out of the box, but the leather should stretch to the perfect size in time. The quality and value of these boots are 5 star.

Great Boots

I wanted a pair of boots that looked a little dressier on the job than my usual riding boots. I came across Indie Ridge online and loved the look of these boots. I was hesitant to order from a company I’ve never tried on in person—I hate dealing with returns. I ordered a 13, which is my usual boot size, and they fit great. I thought they would need a break in period, but honestly after a couple hours around the house, I wore them to work the next day. I walk about 5-6,000 steps throughout the day, and these are the most comfortable boots out of the box I have ever owned—no sore spots, no rubbing, no blisters. On the bike, they are just as good. So far the temp in Wisconsin has been in the upper 40’s to 50’s when I leave in the morning and these boots have been plenty warm enough. I haven’t had to deal with any rain yet, so I don’t know how they perform on wet pavement. These boots are well worth the money, so if you are thinking about it - do it!
