Nice Half Finger
I ride in mostly hot weather. I know these aren't the safest design due to no finger protection, but I still prefer them most of the time. My phone opens with a finger print so that's another reason I prefer this style. I've owned many different variants of these gloves from other brands. Here is my take. Indie Ridge is the best quality leather of them all. The stitching is also the best I've owned. They are a good wrist length for this style of glove. They aren't impossible to remove when your hands are sweaty, but they are difficult. Like another reviewer said, they have enough finger grab that it's possible to get them off and that extra little finger grab seems to be stretching a little as I wear them which helps.
If I was making the perfect half finger glove it would be like this:
Indie Ridge leather and stich quality
Hard knuckle protection under the leather. I found that with my other half fingers that do have knuckle protection it doesn't hinder breathability.
Some of my other pairs have finger pulls on the 2 middle fingers to help you get the gloves off. They are made out of nylon and don't change the feel between your palm and the handlebar. I think they are needed for all half finger gloves.
One of my other pairs has a palm slider built in at the palm below your little finger. I like the feel of that for handlebar comfort, and the added protection.
One thing that I have never found in half finger gloves is thicker palm comfort for long rides. I used to road bike…
