SIZING GUIDE:

If you have beefy hands, width size is more important.

If you have long fingers, finger length is more important.

Step 1:

Measure the length of your middle finger on the palmside.

Step 2:

Lightly wrap a string/tailor's tape around the widest part of your knuckles.

Remember, your gloves will break in — BUT mostly in the width of the fingers and hand. They don't magically get longer.

    Nice Half Finger

I ride in mostly hot weather. I know these aren't the safest design due to no finger protection, but I still prefer them most of the time. My phone opens with a finger print so that's another reason I prefer this style. I've owned many different variants of these gloves from other brands. Here is my take. Indie Ridge is the best quality leather of them all. The stitching is also the best I've owned. They are a good wrist length for this style of glove. They aren't impossible to remove when your hands are sweaty, but they are difficult. Like another reviewer said, they have enough finger grab that it's possible to get them off and that extra little finger grab seems to be stretching a little as I wear them which helps.

If I was making the perfect half finger glove it would be like this:

Indie Ridge leather and stich quality

Hard knuckle protection under the leather. I found that with my other half fingers that do have knuckle protection it doesn't hinder breathability.

Some of my other pairs have finger pulls on the 2 middle fingers to help you get the gloves off. They are made out of nylon and don't change the feel between your palm and the handlebar. I think they are needed for all half finger gloves.

One of my other pairs has a palm slider built in at the palm below your little finger. I like the feel of that for handlebar comfort, and the added protection.

One thing that I have never found in half finger gloves is thicker palm comfort for long rides. I used to road bike…

Too much to call these a life saver?

I've been hoping for a fingerless gloves from Indie Ridge for a few years. These hit the quality standards I've come to expect from Steve and his team. Comfortable for all day use, ventilated to stay cool even in the worst heat. Tough & functional. They

came out just in time for my recent 3 week, 7k mile ride from the Gulf of America to the Dakotas and back through the mountains and then W. Texas. During August. (Full disclosure - I also brought and wore full gauntlets when it was cold and powersports gloves when it was wet.) It was a game changer for my comfort to have these during so many long, hot desert miles. For the days you're thinking, "it's too hot to wear gloves," I found these a really good choice!

    Lightweight COMFORT!

These do exactly what they set out to do. Give you a lightweight, breathable and DURABLE glove for comfy rides. Durable and lightweight usually don’t mix, as there’s some sacrifice to be made for the weight loss. These strike a perfect balance here. Fingerless for those of us who need to feel stuff, but the tops of the finger openings are reinforced well, unlike other similar style gloves. This allows you to remove the gloves from these points without them coming apart quickly as you use the gloves. The fit is great. Has some flex/stretch in the lighter areas of the gloves (the perforated tops) and just sturdy enough on the palms/cushioning to give comfort/kill vibrations without losing feel of what you’re doing. I’m 6ft and heavy with medium hands and the 2x are fitting perfect.
